Cheers to 170 Years Throwback Menus

This year marks a milestone for Charleston’s iconic Mills House, which celebrates its 170th anniversary in August. Originally opened in 1853, the legendary Pink Hotel on the corner of Queen and Meeting Streets has seen many chapters of the city’s rich history.

As the signature restaurant at the famous Pink Hotel, we're celebrating all August with throwback menus inspired by the rich history of our beloved city.

Throwback Tasting  – Join us all month long for historically inspired dishes that pay homage to the Hotel's original dining menu from 1860. Enjoy enjoy a three-course dinner tasting menu for $48/person with selections for an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Served during dinner service, and the hotel's regular dinner menu will also be available.

Jerry Thomas Inspired Cocktail Menu – Taking inspiration from Professor Jerry Thomas, widely considered the founding father of the modern cocktail and a bartender at The Mills House’s Best Friend Lounge back in the late 1800s, Iron Rose will offer a special cocktail menu featuring twists on classic recipes. This month, we toast to Thomas’s longstanding influence on our imbibing culture.
